Where the money comes from
The Government was originally planning to levy the money on resellers of heating fuels. However, when the consultation on the Renewable Heat Incentive was published in February, they backtracked on that idea following intense industry lobbying. However, they postponed stating exactly how the RHI would be paid for until the Budget in April.
So basically, we will update you on where the money will come from when the Government lets us all know!
